    Prior to private practice, Dr Loh was a Senior Consultant Nephrologist at National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore where she was the Director of Preventive Nephrology, working closely with Family Physicians in early detection and management of kidney diseases and led the Glomerular Disease Management Clinic. She was awarded the National Clinical Excellence Team Award in 2016 in recognition for co-directing a prevention program for Diabetic Kidney Disease at primary care setting.

    Dr Loh is also active in teaching with appointments as Assistant Professor in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and External Lecturer for the Advanced Diploma in Nursing at School of Health Sciences, Nanyang Polytechnic. While at NUH, she was the Nephrology Undergraduate Director and Core Faculty for Nephrology Senior Residency Program.

    She is currently the Medical Director for Kidney Life Centre and Advance Renal Care Dialysis centers. She is also a member of Farrer Park Hospital’s Quality Assurance Committee and Medical Advisory Board for AWAK (Automated Wearable Artificial Kidney) Technologies.

    Dr Loh's study in gene polymorphisms on tacrolimus dosing in Asian renal transplant recipients, won her the Singhealth Young Investigator Award in 2007. She has presented multiple abstracts at major Nephrology scientific meetings in the region and internationally.

    Dr Loh graduated with MB, BCh, BAO (Hons) and won the J Seton Pringle Prize for Surgery from the Trinity College of Dublin in Ireland in 1999. She obtained postgraduate qualifications in Internal Medicine and membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in Ireland in 2002. She was awarded specialist accreditation in Renal Medicine from Singapore in 2006.
